ET has the details on how "Beverly Hills, 90210" heartthrob Jason Priestley celebrated the big 4-0 in Las Vegas on Friday night.
The actor whisked 30 of his closest friends and family members off to Tabu Ultra Lounge. Jason walked the red carpet in a charcoal gray suit with his wife, Naomi Lowde-Priestley, who was sporting a form-fitting black satin dress -- and they were mobbed by fans seeking photos and autographs!
Other celebs on hand for the fun included friends Kristy Swanson (‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer’) and Max Martini (“The Unit,” “CSI: Miami”).

Vice President Joe Biden, Caroline Kennedy and many other prominent public figures close to Ted Kennedy offered emotional eulogies about the late senator at a memorial service in Boston's JFK Presidential Library and Museum on Friday night.
"He crept into my heart and before I knew it, owned a piece of it," said Vice President Biden. "I wouldn't be standing here were it not for Teddy Kennedy."

ET has confirmed that actress Kelly Preston has cancelled a speaking engagement in which she was set to discuss the tragic loss of her son, Jett Travolta. The actress was asked by her friend, California first lady Maria Shriver, to speak about her loss at Shriver's annual Conference for Women on a panel titled "Grief and Resilience." "It is with my sincere apologies that I must pull out from speaking at [the] conference. I am sorry, but I truly believed that I could do it," Preston tells People.com. "Otherwise I never would have said that I could. But I am still deeply in the process of healing, and it's just too soon."

DJ AM) was found dead. First, we have the final message the late star posted on his own Twitter account. DJ AM’s final Twitter message, posted on August 25, reads: "New york, new york. Big city of dreams, but everything in new york aint always what it seems." The cryptic line comes from the opening lyrics of "New York, New York" by Grandmaster Flash. ET can confirm that celebrity club disc-jockey Adam Goldstein (a.k.a. DJ AM) has died at the age of 36. Read on for the details. Goldstein was found dead in his New York City apartment on Friday, a rep for the late star tells us, adding that the circumstances surrounding his death are unclear. The NY Fire Department tells us they received a call at 5:24 p.m. and were dispatched to an address where the male on the scene was pronounced dead at 6 p.m.

ET can confirm that Calif. Attorney General Edmund G. Brown, Jr. is launching an independent investigation into several physicians whose names have arisen during the Michael Jackson death investigation.
"Responding to a request from the LAPD, agents from my office will investigate several physicians whose names have come up in the course of the Michael Jackson death inquiry," Brown says. "This investigation is at its earliest stages, and no conclusions can be drawn at this point."
Agents from the attorney general's Bureau of Narcotic Enforcement will delve into relevant records and documents in the coming days and weeks. Earlier Friday, the LAPD released a statement to ET saying the Drug Enforcement Administration will conduct their own independent investigation related to Michael Jackson as well.

Ed Chernoff, the attorney for Michael Jackson's personal physician Dr. Conrad Murray, is speaking out to ET about today's announcement from the Los Angeles County Coroner's office that revealed Jackson's cause of death and ruled it a homicide. Chernoff tells ET: "This press release contains nothing new. For two months we have been hearing the same information, usually from leaks out of the coroner’s office. One has to wonder why the coroner felt compelled to release anything at all if the police investigation is not yet complete. "In any case, this has all the earmarks of police gamesmanship, and we will not be responding until we get a full autopsy report, including the entire list of drugs found in Mr. Jackson, their quantities, and all other data that would allow independent medical experts to analyze and interpret."

"The Jackson family again wishes to commend the actions of the Coroner, the LAPD and other law enforcement agencies, and looks forward to the day that justice can be served," the family's statement to ET says.

The LAPD tells ET that the investigation into Michael Jackson's death is continuing, following the L.A. County Coroner's announcement about the cause and nature of Jackson's demise.
The LAPD, which describes itself as the "primary investigative agency" responsible for the death investigation, tells ET the investigation is "ongoing and will result in the case being presented to the Los Angeles County District Attorney for filing consideration."
The LAPD adds that the DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) and BNE (Bureau of Narcotics Enforcement) have launched their own independent investigations into findings the LAPD's investigation uncovered that "may not be directly related to [Jackson's] cause of death."
