Rep for Dr. Murray’s Attorney: 911 Was Called 30 Mins After Doctor Found Jackson

A representative for Ed Chernoff, the attorney of Dr. Conrad Murray, tells ET that according to Dr. Murray's recollection, 911 was called 30 minutes after Michael Jackson's personal physician found the King of Pop on the day he died. ET has learned that Dr. Murray went into Jackson's room to check on him and found that Jackson, according to Dr. Murray's attorney Ed Chernoff, "wasn't breathing. [Dr. Murray] checked for a pulse. There was a weak pulse in his femoral artery. He started administering CPR." The rep tells ET that Dr. Murray initially administered CPR on Jackson while he was still on his bed because he was frail, saying Dr. Murray "administered it with his hand behind his back to provide the necessary support." Lisa Ling’s Sister to be Released from North Korean Prison

Journalists Euna Lee and Laura Ling have been issued a "special pardon" from North Korea after they were convicted and imprisoned by the North Korean government for allegedly entering the country illegally last March. North Korean leader Kim Jong IL ordered the women be released from a labor prison following a meeting with former U.S. President Bill Clinton, the Associated Press reports. The release of the women was said to be part of North Korea's "humanitarian and peaceloving policy," the AP cites from the Korean Central News Agency. Read More »

Tyler Perry Surprises Snubbed Kids with Trip to Disney World

Tyler Perry treated some happy campers in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to a trip to Orlando, Florida after hearing that the kids were turned away from a local pool. Perry became deeply disturbed when he heard that the day camp Creative Steps, made up of mostly African American and Hispanic inner city children, went to a local country club to swim, only to be asked that they not return. The day camp had paid dues through August. After hearing this story, Perry sent all 65 kids and their legal guardians to Walt Disney World, and also surprised them when he showed up to the indoor theme park Disney Quest. Read More »

Gerard Butler ‘Excited’ to Kiss Jennifer Aniston

Gerard Butler addresses the rumors that he is dating his movie costar Jennifer Aniston and reveals what he really thinks of the actress. Butler told British television show GMTV that he is not dating Aniston and said he would admit if they were dating. "I'm not embarrassed by her," Butler jokes. "She's the best. That girl is so down-to-earth and easy going." In the film tentatively called 'Bounty,' Butler plays a man who is sent to track down a journalist, played by Aniston, that happens to be his ex-wife. The actor says they haven't filmed the kissing scene yet but he's definitely looking forward to it. "I'm excited. I've been lucky," Butler tells GMTV. Read More »

Son of Michael Douglas Arrested on Drug Charge

Cameron Douglas -- son to Oscar-winning actor Michael Douglas -- was reportedly arrested on a drug charge in New York City. On July 28, Cameron, 30, was taken into custody after he was allegedly caught dealing methamphetamine at New York's upscale Hotel Gansevoort, according to the Associated Press. The investigation is still ongoing. AP reports that Cameron was also arrested in California in 2007 on cocaine possession charges. Read More »

Lawyer: Katherine Jackson ‘Very Pleased’ With Outcome in Court

Katherine Jackson's attorney, Londell McMillan, is telling ET what the mother of the late pop icon thinks of Monday's court proceedings. "Mrs. Jackson and family are very pleased with the outcome in court today," McMillan tells ET. Katherine Jackson on Monday was granted permanent guardianship of her son Michael Jackson's three children. Read More »

Kevin Costner Plans to Help Victims of Stage Collapse

Kevin Costner says he hopes to return to Alberta to help the victims of the tragic stage collapse Saturday in Canada that killed one person and injured as many as 75, before a planned performance by Costner and his band Modern West. Costner's publicist, Arnold Robinson, tells the Associated Press that the actor wishes to return to Canada to help the victims of the accident. "My understanding is that they sustained cuts and bruising," Robinson tells the AP about the stage collapse victims. "Kevin went to the hospital with (them), they were treated and released, and he did visit with others that were injured while there… In the event that there is any type of benefit to support the victims, he would hope to be a part of it." Update: Jackson’s Estate Hearing Concludes

The hearing on Michael Jackson's estate has concluded, and a determination was made about who will retain control of the King of Pop's finances. Read on for details… The Associated Press reports that music executive John McClain and attorney John Branca, the two men named as co-executors in Jackson's 2002 will, will administer Jackson's estate until at least Oct. 2. Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Mitchell Beckloff will also consider whether Katherine Jackson can oppose their appointment, the Associated Press reports, while her attorneys determine if she and the administrators have any conflicts of interest.
